Obituary of L.Frank Burke
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Frank Burke - He is survived by Marie, his loving wife of 55 years, his children - Victoria, Annette, Frank and Daren; 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Frank - born Lloyd Franklin Burke, Jr., moved his family from St. Joseph, Missouri to Tucson in 1969. He was in the awning business for over forty years. He recently drove the steam engine train at Trail Dust Town - which he truly enjoyed. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he loved his country.
Frank was a spiritual man. He was truly gifted through the Spirit and shared his love of our Lord through the Divine Mercy message. He was a daily Mass participant at St. Francis de Sales Parish. He was an evangelizer - always spreading the word of our Lord. Jesus was always "peaking" out of his pocket, on the Divine Mercy prayer cards he gave out to everyone he met.
