Obituary of Madisyn Kali Bertsch

BERTSCH, Madisyn Kali, age 16, of Vail Arizona, passed away Saturday May 14, 2016, in a car accident. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Church of Sahuarita in Sahuarita, Arizona with Chaplain Capt. Jamie Myers officiating. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, NM with Pastor Brad Mahan officiating. Madisyn was born October 8, 1999 to Jay and Stephanie Bertsch in Panama City, Florida. Madisyn has one sister, Alexis Bertsch. Madisyn, being a military daughter, has lived in numerous places to include: Panama City, FL, Anchorage, AK, Alamogordo, NM, Annandale, VA, Doha, Qatar and Tucson, AZ. Madisyn was a very outgoing, loving, and caring person. During her time in Doha, she went to Tanzania, Africa on a service trip, where she was involved in building desks, projects for the school children and assisting under privileged children there. Madisyn loved her family, her friends, her dog, Ellie, and especially her cell phone. Madisyn was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Madisyn is survived by her parents of the home, Jay and Stephanie Bertsch; her sister, Alexis Bertsch of Boston, MA; grandparents, Mike and Kathy Munz and Linda Jacquez, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and dog Ellie. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Bruce Scroggins, James and Betty Shick, and Carey and Dean Stephenson. A GoFundMe page has been set up in her honor.
