Obituary of Susan Norcross Provost

PROVOST, Susan Norcross (nee Hennick) Sue of Sahuarita, AZ passed away at age 69 on April 14, 2016 after a courageous ten- month battle with cancer. She will be missed. Sue was born in Springfield, Mass. to the late Robert P. and Mary (Chatfield) Hennick. She graduated from Longmeadow High School, attended UMASS, Amherst and got her R.N. from New Hampshire Vocational and Technical College. Sue always wanted to be a nurse and worked in the field for 30 years before retiring in 2014. She lived for extended periods in Dover, NH, Ft. Myers, FL and Sahuarita, AZ. She loved nature, photography, and collecting things. Sue is survived by her son, Roland Joseph (Sisi) Provost III; her sister, Marcia H. (Richard) Strange; her nephew, Michael Strange and many extended family, friends, and colleagues. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Church, 17750 South La Cañada Drive, Sahuarita, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum, 2021 N. Kinney Rd., Tucson, AZ 85743, or to the charity of the donor's choice .
