Obituary of William L Peterson

PETERSON, William L. "Bill" On April 27, 2016 Bill died suddenly in Oro Valley, AZ. His death was a shock to his family and friends. He survived cancer and was living a healthy life. Bill was dedicated to his friends and family, 4-H Youth Development, the Tourette Syndrome Association, and Interfaith Community Services. He was born April 28, 1944 to Albert and Frances (Lindhardt) Peterson in Cloquet, MN and was raised on the family farm in Cromwell. He married Judith Anne Howatt on August 3, 1968. Together, they raised two children, Kari and Kevin and instilled in them his love of travel, sports, respect and compassion for all people. Bill was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Judy of 47 years; his daughter, Kari (Mike Johnson) Vogel; his son, Kevin (Debirah Howardson); sister, Elaine Crouch; twin brother, Warren (Kathy); brother, Russel (Trish) and sisters, Diane (Jim) VonDeLinde and Jean (Jim) Lind. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Henry, Will and Kate. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 1800 North Camino Pio Decimo, Tucson, AZ. A luncheon will be served immediately following. In lieu of flowers, we ask if you would make a donation to one of three special places: Interfaith Community Services of Tucson, AZ; Arizona Tourette Syndrome Association or Arizona 4-H Youth Foundation.
