Obituary of Charles A Porter

PORTER, Charles A. Charles Porter passed away on April 14, 2016 surrounded by family at home. He was born in Lansing, Michigan on January 13, 1940 to Richard and Mary Porter. He relocated to Tucson, Arizona where he grew up, went to ASDB and worked hard as a carpenter, cement finisher and was a custodian for N.O.A.O. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and woodworking. His hero was Roy Rogers; Lifelong companion to Judy Porter; Loving Daddy to Mary Glover (Chuck), Charlie Porter (Charlotte), Angie Porter. Paw-Paw of Charles Glover (Donna), Amanda Haddix (Kent), Valerie Ramirez (AJ), Mike Porter, Shawn Glover (Jacquie), Tyrell Glover (Brittany), and Daniel Glover. Great-grandpa of Charles, Benjamin, Emily, Scarlett, Wyatt, Tucker and Emmaline. Preceded in death by his mother, father, brother and grandson, Deshun; Longtime friend to Bryan Johnson. He will always be remembered for his big blue eyes and infectious smile.
