Obituary of Willaim Louis Dale
DALE, William "Bill" Louis age 92, died peacefully in Tucson on April 10, 2016, following a short illness. His first wife, Margaret "Marge" and second wife, Beta, preceded him in death along with his stepson Richard. He is survived by sons, Bill Jr., Rick, Jim (Emily), Amy (Brian), Ken (Karen), Paul, and John (Kim) and stepdaughters, Geraldine (Joe) and Diana (Bill). Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Erik, Keith, Patrick, Erin, Cory, Justin, Megan, Rylee and Connor and great-grandchildren, Vincent, Julian, Payton, and Maggie, also survive him. Bill was born in Erie, Pa, to Louis and Mabel Dale. He joined the Army Air Corps at age 19 in 1942, spending the war years as a pilot instructor ending his service flying the B-29. Bill earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Kentucky and enjoyed a 35-year career with General Electric Aviation in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bill's love of aviation lived long after his years in the Army Air Corps. He was the co-inventor of the Play-Doh Fun Factory. God Bless you and God's Speed, Dad. You will be greatly missed.
