Obituary of Elena Teresa Scalzo

SCALZO, Elena Teresa Was born in New York, NY on June 6, 1920. She passed away on April 4, 2016. She was married to Henry Emanuel Scalzo for 61 years. Preceded in death by parents, Teresina and Nicholas Salicco; sisters, Mary Albanese; Loretta DiFillipo and Frances DiBlasi. Survived by her brother, Nicholas Salicco Jr, daughter, Marie Elene Palmietto, grandchildren; Jennifer Nurre and Jaime Romero, great-grandchildren; Brent Nurre, Brandon Nurre and Clark Romero. She worked as a professional seamstress and was also the Director of the Senior Citizens Club in Buchanan, NY. Graveside Services will be held at Holy Hope Mausoleum on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Charitable donations may be made to the American Cancer Society .
