Obituary of Julie Begin

BEGIN, Julie 46, died in a car accident in Tucson, AZ on March 25, 2016. Julie was born September 20, 1969 in Anaheim, California and lived most of her life in California, having recently moved to Tucson from Los Angeles to live near family after both her parents passed away. Daughter of the late Donald Begin of Cerritos, California and the late Marilyn Begin of Cypress, California, Julie is survived by her life-partner of 15 years, Stephanie Workman; her "in-laws", George and Kathy Workman of Marana, AZ; her brother, Jim Begin of Davenport, Iowa; brothers, Glen and Gary Begin, and her extensive and loving family in California, Michigan, and Iowa. Julie worked for Apple retail stores in Costa Mesa and Cerritos, California and had recently transferred to the Apple store in Tucson, where she quickly made many friends. Julie was passionate about her hobbies: wine, ice hockey (go Red Wings!), music, photography, and staying connected with friends through facebook. She enjoyed exploring her new home town of Tucson, trying new restaurants at the recommendation of her Apple customers, going wine-tasting in Sonoita and Wilcox, always finding people in Southern Arizona to be warm and welcoming. Julie had lived in Tucson for eight months and was excited to finish renovating her house, make new friends, and put down roots in Tucson. A private Celebration of Julie Begin's life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Marana, AZ.
