Obituary of Alfreda V Haubrich
HAUBRICH, Alfreda V. (Tagai) 90, of Oro Vallley, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2016. She was born in Hamtramck, MI, on September 23, 1925 and graduated from Pershing High. She was a drum majorette and enjoyed dancing, particularly the polka. She worked as a keypunch operator and personnel manager. Active in the Polish Legion of American Veterans in Detroit she was also a founding member of the Arizona Polish Club. A long-time resident of Boulder, Colorado, she also lived in Illinois and New York. She was married for many years to Joseph A. Haubrich, who preceded her in death in 2008. She is survived by three children, Joseph, Margaret and Gigi (Axe) and many grandchildren. A Rosary and Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Tucson, and Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. Odilia's Church, 7570 North Paseo Del Norte, Oro Valley. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Cancer Society or St. Odilia's Parish.
