Obituary of Doris E Muckley

MUCKLEY, Doris E. died peacefully on March 19, 2016. Her immediate surviving relatives are her husband, Robert E. Muckley; her two sons, David Muckley from Manhattan Beach, CA, Jay Muckley from Northfield, MN and two daughters, Joan Peters from Oklahoma City, OK, and Marybeth Stevenson from Eugene, OR. She was born February 10, 1928 in Niles, OH. She graduated from Wittenburg University in Springfield, OH in 1950. Bob and Doris married in December of 1950 and enjoyed 65 years with a loving relationship. Doris was a teacher and worked for ten years with a national tax firm. She contributed ten years of service to a non-profit organization called "Neighbor for Neighbor" which helped the working poor in Tulsa, OK. She and Bob wrote a book that told the history of their five children growing up and descriptions of the countries and places they visited. Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Desert, a conventual church at the Redemptorist Renewal Center near Picture Rocks.
