Obituary of Daphne Hanson

Daphne Hanson 88, passed away at home March 1, 2016 after a long illness. She was born May 5, 1927 in Clifton, Bedfordshire, England. Daphne met her husband Milton of 64 years during World War II; he preceded her in death in 2010. She is survived by their children Jeanette (Larry) and Terry (Barbara), three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, four brothers in England, and one sister in Texas and many nieces and nephews. Daphne was an angel on Earth and was loved by many. Visitation will be held 1-3 pm Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Adair Avalon Funeral Home 8090 N. Northern in Oro Valley. The funeral will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church at 7570 N. Thornydale Rd. Internment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Rd.
