Obituary of Jefferey Scott Anderson

Jefferey Scott Anderson passed away on Sunday February 28, 2016 at the age of 54. Jeff was a loving son, brother, father, and friend to so many. He was proceeded in death by father, Harold "Bud" Anderson and stepfather, Gil Hively. He is survived by son, Aaron; daughter, Kristin; mother, Nancy Hively; brothers, Joel (Denise), Jon (Daisy), Jay (Cora) and Steve (Julie); sisters, Julie and Linda Price, devoted friend and ex-wife, Dolores and many nieces and nephews. Jeff's love for life and family gave him the strength to fight for 18 years after receiving a heart transplant in 1998. Jeff took so much pride in his family, work, and friendships. His children's milestones and achievements are what gave Jeff the most joy in his life. A Celebration of Life will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 7570 N. Thornydale Rd., Tucson, AZ 85741 on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Because of Jeff's love of sports we are asking that in lieu of flowers any donations be made in Jeff's name to the Larry Lempke Scholarship Fund to support athletic programs for youth in-need throughout MUSD, 11279 Grier Rd., 85653.
