Obituary of Janet Irene Bond

Janet Irene Bond Born June 26, 1935 in Altadena, California joined her Savior and husband on January 12, 2016. Jan is survived by three loving daughters, Sherrie, Wendy and Sandi; nine adoring grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, two brothers, David and Jerry Hankins and other family and friends. She was preceded by parents, Bryan and Irene Hankins; husband, William "Bill" Bond; brother, Richard "Dick" Hankins; sister-in-law, Patricia Hankins and one grandson, Lanson Nisly. Jan's passion was volunteer service at Trinity Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon, hosted "Christmas Dinners", meals for homeless shelters, numerous church committees, Homeless Connect, water for Street Fair, sandwiches for Casa Maria, and more. Jan embodied Christ's message with her unconditional love and unfailing example of service. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial Service to be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 400 E. University Ave. Rev. William Voigt will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
