Obituary of Mario Celentano
Celentano, Mario Born February 20, 1971, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. He fought a Long Hard battle of heart disease for 13 years, including the last five with a Heart transplant. He continued to fight working the entire time, up until the day he was admitted to UMC Hospital on October 20, 2015. Mario lived life the best way he knew how while living in Tucson all his life. He attended CDO High School and graduated in 1989. He got married and has two children. Mario had a passion for cooking and made a career out of it and was a cook at Doubletree Hotel. His die hard passion was playing Baseball. His favorite team was the Los Angeles Dodgers. Mario played baseball for CDO High School. He enjoyed football also. His love for sports progressed; his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and our local Arizona Wildcats. His personality was one of a kind. His sense of humor was classic. A guy you would not forget… no really.. You would not forget him! His laugh was sarcastic but in a funny way. He is survived by his parents, Pat and Rosy Celentano; brother, Daniel Celentano and his wife Alisa and children, Caiden Brady and Kennedy; sister, Mercy Celentano; sons, Tyler Patrick Celentano and Eric Celentano; and ex-wife, Jennie Holub. His viewing will be on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Adair Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. There will be a Mass on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Lady of the Desert Catholic Chapel, 7101 W. Picture Rocks Rd.
