Obituary of Margaret Walczak
Margaret Walczak 92, of Tucson passed away on Christmas Morning, 2015 after a long and debilitating illness. Margaret was born in Libertyville, Illinois on February 28, 1923, to John and Catherine Baum. She graduated from Libertyville High School in 1941, and married the love of her life, Thaddeus Walczak, on May 20, 1944. She worked as a bookkeeper at Abbott Laboratories until the birth of her children, Ron and Marilyn. Ted and Marge moved to Tucson in 1977. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and the Arizona Polish Club, and she volunteered over 2,000 hours at Northwest Hospital. She was a loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving son, Ron; her grandchildren, Sean and Erica and her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Victoria, Kaleen and William. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; her daughter, Marilyn and son-in-law, George and her nephew, Ryan. Friends may call at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Avenue (at Magee) on Monday, January 5, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon Road, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
