Obituary of Lorraine A Ryan
Lorraine A. Ryan Born July 28, 1942, in Detroit, MI, Lorraine is the eldest child of Albert and Madge Kling. She graduated from Tucson High and received her RN from Los Angeles County General Hospital where she studied in the glory days of Ben Casey. She returned to Tucson and was head nurse in surgery and eventually became an Assistant Director at Tucson Medical Center. When she retired, she moved to Todos Santos, Baja California, where she watched the whales and translated science tracts into Spanish. She returned to Tucson years later and enjoyed football, bingo, Scrabble, crossword puzzles and Butterfingers. She was known for her wry wit and quirky sense of humor. Her sister, Nan Schubel; brothers, Albert (of Pensacola, FL) and John Kling; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew survive her. Her daughter, Lori Bagley, predeceased her. Lorraine died December 27, 2015, after a long series of heart ailments. She will be pleased to find herself in line at the Pearly Gates with Meadowlark Lemon. No services are planned. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
