Obituary of Michael F Ochoa

Michael F. Ochoa 87 years old, lifted his spirit to heaven and began his journey on November 11, 2015. He will join his wife, Patricia; son, Michael Patrick; grandson, Nicolas and great-grandson, Andres. He was born in Oracle, Arizona and spent his entire adult life in Tucson. A real native Arizonan. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Oberlin; sister, Mary; brother, Edward and daughter-in-law, Ana; his five grandchildren, Sean, Michael (Leah), David (Karey), Adriana (Nick) and Michelle (Kyle); 11 great-grandchildren, niece, Debbie; nephew, George and many cousins. Mike worked at the San Manuel Copper Mine as a young man to support his family. He endured the mile-deep danger and was a foreman for many years. After more than 25 years of stress on his health and heart he started another chapter. Mike and Pat moved to Sun City, Oro Valley in 1988 and there he continued to perfect his golf game and they were very active members of the community and Santa Catalina Church. He recently received recognition for ten years of service to community. Viewing on Friday, November 20, 2015, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Catalina Catholic Church, 14380 N. Oracle Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent de Paul.
