Obituary of Albert Ross Eckert

Albert Ross Eckert, Jr. 10/5/1923 - 10/10/2015 92, passed away peacefully at his home. Born in St Charles, VA, Ross served 20 years in the US Army Infantry and Signal Corp in WWII and Korea retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1962. Ross then served as a government civilian until his retirement in 1986. He volunteered for the next 18 years at the Tucson Veterans Hospital. Ross is survived by his wife, Nancy Evans Eckert of 70 years next March; their three children, Albert Ross Eckert III (Hanna) of Tucson, Gregory Evans Eckert (Joan) of Tucson and Eva Eckert Hickey (John) of Richland, WA; eight beloved grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
