Obituary of Priscilla J Deniz

Priscilla "Sally" J. Deniz passed peacefully at home on October 22, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband Claude, three children and four grandchildren. Sally was born on June 20, 1935 in Teaneck, NJ. She graduated from Teaneck High School and attended Gettysburg and Douglas Colleges. Sally was a proud Wildcat and received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education from the University of Arizona. She was a third grade teacher at Sunrise Drive Elementary School and belonged to the Assistance League of Tucson and volunteered at St. Luke's Board of Visitors. Sally was a active member of St. Phillip's in the Hills Episcopal Church where she taught Sunday school, served on the Altar Guild and joined many committees. Her warm and outgoing personality made her a fun person to be with. She was a seasoned world traveller and touched foot on six continents. Her warmth and grace will be missed by all who loved her. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Phillips's in the Hills Episcopal Church on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to Imago Dei Middle School or the St. Phillip's in the Hills Preservation and Endowment Fund.
