Obituary of John Robert Strom

John Robert Strom age 85, of Oro Valley, AZ, passed away peacefully at home September 16, 2015. Preceded in death by his son, Mark and daughter, Karen. Survived by wife, Nancy, of 32 years; son, Stan of Gilbert, AZ; sister, Darlene Jukes of KS; daughters, Bobbi Groninger of Oro Valley, Teri Anderson of MN, and Linda Lenz of TX; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Originally from McPherson, KS, John served in the US Air Force, graduated from the University of Arizona and became a fierce and loyal Wildcat fan. John worked several years as VP at Mueller Piano and his love of people led him to first work as a realtor at Roy Long and to later become a top salesman at Fairfield La Cholla and Del Webb Corp. John's love of family and tender heart will never be forgotten and will be sorely missed by all. A Celebration of John's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Resurrection Lutheran Church located at 11575 N. 1st Avenue, Oro Valley (520) 575-9901.
