Obituary of Robert W Nelson

Robert W. Nelson aka Dad, Grandpa Ben-Bob, GBB, Ben, Bob "went down wolf meat trail" on September 6, 2015. As per his wishes, he was in his own bed when he left to go on his next adventure. Born September 22, 1929 he was a true child of the depression, always worrying about how much toilet paper and soap was on hand. During his lifetime he lived in several countries and many states and leaves behind family and friends in many of them. He started his work life as a busboy and prior to his retirement he was the senior court reporter for the 8th Air Force. He loved his retirement years and upon retiring said that every day would be Saturday from here on out. He loved life, everything from bow hunting big game to watching football on TV for hours. He is survived by daughters, Connie, Peggy and Suzie; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. We will miss his opinions and his incredible sense of humor. A Memorial Service will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Casual attire please - he thought live should be lived, not dressed up for. In lieu of flowers be consider honoring Robert by contributing to Pima Animal Care Center, 4000 N. Silverbell Rd., 85745.
