Obituary of Roxanna A Swoyer

SWOYER, Roxanna A., On August 5, 2015, at home with her daughter by her side, Roxanna peacefully transitioned from her earthly experience to the Realms of Light. She was 78. Born in Mohnton, PA, her family moved to Reading, PA during her teen years. She graduated from Reading High in 1954. She married Robert Swoyer and had two children, Robin Alana and Robert Jr. She held leadership positions in the 13th and Union Mother's Club, Wives of Professional Engineers Club (local and state organizations) and was President of the Independent Union that represented workers at Berks Heim. She moved to Tucson, AZ in 1987. She was an active member of St. Francis in the Foothills, UMC, the Mind, Matter and Metaphysics (3M) group and Tucson Dowsers. She worked for Pima County for 15 years. She was predeceased by her parents and sister-in-law, Doris Blimline. She is survived by her brother, Verne Blimline; daughter, Robin Alana; son, Robert Jr (Barbara) and their children, Samuel, Mary and Johanna. Also survived by niece, Linda Figard (Matt) and nephew, Dennis Blimline (Tyndra), and their families. She was passionate about "Peace and Justice" and will be deeply missed.
