Obituary of Raymond Edward Armijo
Raymond Edward Armijo beloved husband, father, tata, son, brother and friend, passed away July 13, 2015 at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia of 34 years; daughters, Valerie Peralta (Jesus) and Charisma Pursell (Bret); grandchildren, Aubriana, Jillian, Brittany, Roman, Joseph and Aiden; siblings, Lupe Armijo (Rosie), Marie Sotelo (Robert), Yolanda Kuharik (Don) and Corine Salazar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Dominga and brother, Robert. Raymond was born August 11, 1949 in Santa Rita, New Mexico. He proudly served in the United States Navy, worked in the Magma Copper Mines, where he met Cynthia and later married in 1981. They moved to Tucson where he worked for Raytheon Missile Systems until his retirement in 2011. Raymond was an amazing man, full of love, music and remarkable strength. Services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015. Viewing: 9:00 a.m., Rosary: 9:30 a.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Avenue, Tucson, AZ. Mass: 12:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd., and interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3535 N. Oracle Rd.
