Obituary of Clarence Benjamin Lavigne
Clarence Benjamin "Bob" Lavigne passed at home in the arms of his loving wife, Margaret , on July 8, 2015 after a long illness. Bob was born on March 9, 1928, to Benjamin and Florida Lavigne in Burlington, Vermont. He lived in the Burlington area until moving to Tucson in 1956. Bob is survived by his wife Margaret of 64 years of marriage, his son Allan and daughters Sharon (Hank Boiselle), and Charlene (Lawrence Pieper). He has five grandchildren, Laurie, Denis, Elisabeth, Samantha, and Vincent. He is also survived by two sisters Alice and Shirley (Danny Boynton). His deceased brother Clifford, and sisters Dorothy, and Marlene, will all be greeting him on the other side. Bob was always a hard worker, employed as a dispatcher for Hughes Aircraft, and a second job as a patient transporter on the weekends at Tucson Medical Center. Even upon retirement after 33 years from Hughes Aircraft, he continued to work part time as a transporter at UMC Hospital, a school crossing guard for TUSD, and at Saints Peter and Paul Church as an usher at the 11:00 Mass. Never one to slow down in his spare time he enjoyed dancing, sailing on boats, picnicking on Mount Lemmon, and taking his children and grandchildren to Disneyland. Bob was always a loving Father, son, brother and uncle. His very lively loving spirit will be greatly missed. A memorial service is being held at Adair Funeral Homes, Dodge Chapel 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., Tucson, AZ., 85716, on July 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM, all are welcome to come. Also in honor of his passing there is a Mass being held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 1946 East Lee St., Tucson, AZ, 85719, August 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
