Obituary of James Madison Pierce

James Madison Pierce 72, of Tucson, AZ died June 8, 2015 from cancer at his home. Jim was born June 6, 1943, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Ralph and Violet Pierce. He moved to AZ at the age of 12 with his family. He served in the Navy from 1962 to 1964 and graduated from Pima CC in 1973. He worked as an appliance service tech for Sears in Tucson for 27 years until 2005 when he retired. He served Christ as a Sunday school teacher at Christ Community Church for 26 years until 2015. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Marie Pierce; daughter, Michelle (Ron) Boehler; son, Michael (Evelyn) Pierce; six grandchildren, one great-grandson; two brothers; and two sisters. A Celebration of life will be held in Tucson at Christ Community Church, 7801 E. Kenyon Dr., on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ Community Church. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, DODGE CHAPEL
