Obituary of Robert Galindo Garcia

79, Robert G. Garcia "Bobby" born October 22nd, 1935. On May 30th, 2015 he left us to play music with our heavenly Father while surrounded by family and friends in prayer. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years Frances "Panchita" and their six children; Robert (Marianna), Ruby, Roy (Janet), Ruben, Ralph (Ruth) and, Rose (Christopher.) He and Frances share 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Bobby was born in Douglas, AZ to Liborio and Josefina Garcia where he graduated from Douglas High School. He met the love of his life Frances "Panchita" Cota-Elias in Agua Prieta, Sonora, MX. He then attended the University of Arizona where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering. Engineering was his profession but music was his true passion. He founded and directed Mariachi Tepeyac where he played numerous masses at Sacred Heart Church. He also taught guitar, guitarron and composed and arranged music. He will be most remembered for his love of faith, family, and food. The celebration of life services will include a rosary Friday June 5th from 6pm-to-8pm at Adair Funeral Home, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Tucson, AZ 85716. Funeral mass will be Saturday June 6th at 10:00am at Most Holy Trinity Parish 1300 N. Greasewood Rd. 85745. Reception to follow at the homestead.
