Obituary of Margaret Corgan Kenski

Margaret Corgan Kenski Born September 14, 1943 in Washington, D.C., Margaret Corgan Kenski passed away in her home on May 26, 2015 due to complications following a long battle with breast cancer. She was 71. Margaret received her undergraduate degrees in Foreign Service and doctorate in political science from Georgetown University. She also attended the University of Edinburgh. She married Henry C. Kenski in 1968 and then moved to Tucson. She was a professor and administrator at Pima Community College from 1969 to 1997. Owner of Arizona Opinion, she conducted hundreds of surveys for towns, cities, ballot proposition committees, and private organizations in Arizona and New Mexico on transportation, parks and recreation, health care, overall community needs assessments, and political and public issues. She served as a pollster for numerous federal, state, and local candidates. Margaret served for 19 years on the Pima County Board of Adjustment for District 1 and served for ten years on the Arizona State Commission on Judicial Conduct and ten years on the Arizona Commission on Judicial Performance Review. Margaret is survived by her husband, Henry C. Kenski; her daughters, Kate Kenski, Carolyn Kenski and Erin Paradis; her sons-in-law, Jeff Anicker and Brian Paradis and her three grandchildren, Henry, Robin and Adaleyha Anicker. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Corgan; brother, Joseph Corgan, and sister-in-law, Gloria Kenski. A Memorial will take place on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows, 1800 S. Kolb Rd. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Margaret Kenski's life.
