Obituary of Clayton Alexander George
Clayton Alexander George Passed away at home on May 22, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn and daughters, Nancy George Velasco, Barbara George and son, Richard George. Born in Springfield, MA on March 17, 1926, he served in the Air Force operating radio communications aboard B-29's during WW II. Upon his honorable discharge he met Marilyn on Cape Cod and they married in 1949 raising their family in Agawam, MA where he was the vice president of a regional commercial construction company. They moved to Tucson in 1974 where he worked in commercial real estate until retirement. Clayton was passionate about many things: love of family, the game of golf, great jazz, playing piano, airplanes of any type and growing flowers. He will be remembered always as a devoted husband and father and for his sense of humor, his easy smile and his ability to make a new friend of any stranger. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Mt Olive Lutheran Church, 2005 S. Houghton Rd., Tucson, AZ, 85748.
