Obituary of Lawrence W Balderston
Lawrence W. Balderston 1944 - 2015 70, passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2015, following a lengthy illness. He moved to Tucson from the Midwest with his family in 1973. He was a welder and master craftsman; he retired from Sundt Construction in 2006, where he made many great friends. Lawrence is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Carolyn; daughter, Jauna (Kevin) Balderston-Todd; granddaughters, Tara Todd, CJ Todd, and Haven Scheiderer; grandson, Larry (Amber) Todd; three great-grandsons; his two sisters, Jeani (Rex) Hyde and Cheri (John) Wiehl; and numerous, dear nieces and nephews. Lawrence is preceded in death by his son, Darin. He had a great love of flattrack motorcycle racing and treasured the friends and great family times he enjoyed over the years around the track. He was a soft-spoken, hard-working family man who will be dearly missed.
