Obituary of Elizabeth Jean Walker

Elizabeth Jean Walker 86, passed away peacefully at her home on March 6, 2015, of natural causes. Born September 21, 1928, in Syracuse, NY, Betty attended Tucson High School and graduated from the University of Arizona. During her UA years and for a few years after her 1951 graduation, Betty worked for Bumps Tribolet in the Graduate Manager's office, the heart of UA Athletics and other student organizations, making many life-long friendships. She was always interested in all things Scottish, her Westie dogs, travel, shopping and entertaining, and everything happening at the University of Arizona. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at her home from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations in her memory to the University of Arizona Alumni Association, 1111 N.
