Obituary of Betty Ann Lorenz

BettyAnn Lorenz passed away on February 15, 2015, at the age of 84. Born in Chicago, Illinois on Christmas day 1930, to George and Elizabeth Horvat. Pre-deceased by her brothers, George J. and Raymond J. Horvat. Survived by her dedicated husband of 64 years, William E. Lorenz (Uncle Bill); nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Working alongside her husband and brothers in the Chicago grocery business, and later with Bill in the golf business, BettyAnn managed the Pinetop Country Club Pro Shop where she won various awards for presentation and made numerous life-long friendships. Once in Tucson, she worked tirelessly at their business, "Tee's Please." BettyAnn volunteered at the Sun City library and bowled on the women's team. Pinetop, a three-month stay in Maine, and her pets were special memories in her heart. Bill remains the love of her life. Her life will be celebrated Wednesday, March 4, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at The Country Club of La Cholla, 8700 N. La Cholla Blvd. Donations may be made to Casa de la Luz Hospice, 5830 N.
