Obituary of Dorothy Lou Myrick

Dorothy Lou Burns Myrick was born in Tucson in 1936 to local Florist Hal Burns Sr. and May Watkins Burns. On Friday, February 20, 2015 Dorothy was embraced by the Holy Spirit and taken home to Heaven to be with her parents and brothers, Hal Jr. and William Benton Burns. Dorothy devoted her life to serving God and humanity and being a wonderful mother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Clifford Myrick; her children, Elizabeth and Gregory Michael Turner; her stepchildren, Kara, Korby and Kip Myrick; her nieces and nephews, Hal Burns III, Laurie, Madelyn, David, William, Kenneth and Jill Burns; as well as her grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Arianna, Lily and Benjamin. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1:30 p.m., at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 7650 N. Paseo Del Norte. The Viewing will be at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
