Obituary of William Daugherty

DAUGHERTY, William "Bill", passed away peacefully on February 15, 2015 with his family at his bedside. Born September 30, 1926, in Kansas City, MO, Bill moved to Arizona with his parents and seven sisters at an early age. He was a longtime Arizona resident, farmer and WWII Navy Vet. Bill lived the majority of his years in Phoenix and Gila Bend where he farmed. He lived his retirement years in Lakeside and Tucson. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ann; children, Bill (Bobbie) Daugherty and Patti (Tom) Waters; sister, Anna Jones; grandchildren, Michelle (Richard) Knott, Deik and Michael Daugherty; great- grandchildren, Bryce Daugherty, Rich and Philip Knott and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be held at East Lawn Cemetery Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
