Obituary of Eugenia Adair Brodie

Eugenia "Jeanne" Adair Brodie of Tucson, entered into rest on February 1, 2015. Born December 4, 1924 in Louisville, Kentucky. Married James R. Brodie on October 4, 1946. Lived all over the United States; retired in Tucson in 1992. A Veteran of the Navy Waves, an avid writer, contributing essays to magazines and published a book of her memoirs. She was involved in Grow Hawaii, and Ott Y Womens' Club. She raised ten wonderful children and was the true heart of her family. The widow of James R. Brodie (d. 2005). Mother of Steven William (CO), Karen Maureen (AZ), Matthew Dennis (AZ), Robert Christopher (AZ), Christina Marie (SC), Eileen Ann, (CA) Kathleen Mary (CO), Janet Claire (AZ), Susan Frances (NZ) and Mark Langley (AZ). Sister to Janis Taylor and the late Joyce Sanders of Louisville, Kentucky. Sister-in-law to Peggy Doherty (CA), Peggy-Jo and Jack Brodie (AZ). Grandmother to Keith Brodie (VA) Ted and Alina Irish (AZ), Nick, Tony and Alexandra Castaneda (AZ), Cullen Brodie (OR), Colton and Jacob Liberacki (CO), Katelyn Brodie (AZ) and Jonathan and Hannah Pringle (SC). Great-grandmother to Kane and Alyssa Brodie, Kelton and Ashley Brodie, Kian Mossesian (VA) and Maximiliano Castaneda (AZ).
