Obituary of Carol Wagoner Cook
COOK, Carol Wagoner, age 75, died Thursday, January 29 surrounded by her family. Carol was born in Springfield, MO. As a young adult she moved to the Kansas City area where she married her first husband, Richard Wagoner raised her two children, Richard Jr. and Kelly and ran a manufacturing company Fordick Corporation. After the death of her first husband, Carol met and fell in love with Gary who she shared a full and wonderful life of 22 years. Carol loved to sing for her church choir, the St Andrews Sisters, and with any other jazz venue that would allow her to join them on stage. She loved to dance, play golf, decorate homes, support her children and grandchildren, and have ongoing adventures with Gary. Carol had a loving and generous soul and took so many people into her heart. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Carol is survived by her husband, Gary Cook; children, Richard Wagoner and Kelly Ruppelius and grandchildren, Conrad, Natalie, Brooke, Benjamin, Katherine and Clara Grace and sister, Jody Groves. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in the southwest campus sanctuary, 7575 Paseo Del Norte, Tucson, AZ. Services to be held in Kansas City will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made in care of Carol Cook to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy student scholarship fund, or Interfaith Community Services.
