Willaim Fink

Obituary of Willaim Fink

FINK, William, 89, died January 14, 2015. After serving in the Navy as a medical corpsman during World War II, William returned to Columbia University in New York City to complete his Pharmacy degree. He moved to Tucson in 1948 to join his father, Myron Fink in owning and operating Stratford Pharmacy. He closed Stratford in 1990 and formed Managed Care Pharmacy Consultants, Inc., from which he retired in 2014. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Milleson Fink and by his daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Jon Willoughby and Debra and Roger Linn and their three children, Rachael, Tyler and Trevor Linn. William was an enthusiastic tennis player with an astonishing double-hitch serve. He loved his early morning walks down Third Street, mostly because they involved talking to every other walker - as well as their dogs. Not enough can be said about Tucson Medical Center Hospice staff. They were compassionate and caring, not only for William, but for his family. Remembrances will be welcomed for the Fink Family Scholarships at the College of Pharmacy, University of Arizona, Tucson, 85721. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.
