Obituary of Anthony Romano

Anthony "Tony" Romano 75, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully October 2, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. Born January 20, 1939, son of Michael and Pauline Romano; he was the oldest of four siblings. He married Martha LaRue in 1969, who has also passed. A graduate of Tucson High, he worked for the Pima Mining Co and then for CoxCo before retiring. He is survived by his son, A.J.; his sister, Carol; his brother, Michael; stepchildren, Michael and Melinda and all of their children and grandchildren. He was a kind and gentle person that loved bowling, golfing, working in his yard, and helping others. He will be missed. A gathering to remember Tony will be held at the home of Mickey Romano on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at 542 E Windward Pl, Tucson AZ 85704.
