Obituary of Alexander Britain

Alexander Britain Tucson resident Alexander Britain, age 81, passed away on September 9, 2014. Alexander a retired opera tenor is survived by his daughter, Marni and two grandchildren. He was born September 1, 1933 in Newark, New Jersey. Alexander made Tucson his home in the late 1970's but spent several months of each year performing in opera houses throughout Europe, primarily in Germany. In later years he was a voice teacher, bred and showed Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers and a member of the Tucson Iris Society. He will be very much missed by his friends and family. There will be a Memorial Service at Ft. Lowell Park, Ramada 5, Sunday October 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.
