Obituary of Frank Reinald Hugh Katterman

Frank Reinald Hugh Katterman passed away September 24, 2014 in Tucson, AZ. He was born June 28, 1929 in Paia, Maui, Hawaii. After 38 years of service as a research professor, he retired from the Plant Science Department, University of Arizona in 1994. Frank was an active athlete, especially in swimming, running, and bicycling. His talents of singing and playing the ukulele often delighted many. Frank and his wife Lenore (Grace) were the parents of six children, Amy, Janette, Frank Jr., Grace, Matthew and Lee. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Ruth; niece, Becky, and grandniece, Leyla. Visitation is Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at LDS Church, 939 W. Chapala. Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
