Obituary of Miriam Colson Fritts

Miriam Colson Fritts died September 14, 2014 at age 92, born on December 21, 1922 in Gering, NB to Maurice R. Colson and Cora V. Burke. She is survived by her husband, Harold C. Fritts; children, Marcia (Charles) Miller and Paul (Pam) Fritts; grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephanie, Thomas and Susanne. Miriam was an instrumental music teacher in Boulder, CO. She was interested in botany especially alpine flowers. She collected plants in Colorado, Alaska and the Galapagos Island for the University of Colorado and Arizona Herbariums. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Fritts' home on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. please call 887-7291 for directions.
