Mr. Jons was one of my favorite high school teachers. He always had a smile for us; rarely raised his voice. I still remember the fun I had learning about the stock market. Sincere condolences from a 1964 graduate.

I remember "Mr.Jons" as a wonderful teacher and somebody I observed as having a lot going on in his mind. One of the sad things about knowing these interesting people when you are a student in high school is never getting to know them as a peer adult. My condolences to his family. Steve Brown Class of 1970.

Dear Ardis and your family, We are so sorry for the loss of your dear husband and father. You have our deepest sympathy. We found out about your loss in the Sioux Falls paper today. In the midst of the grief I know that you will always have the wonderful memories and the knowledge that he lived a full life and that he is at home with Lord.

My thoughts and prayers go out to The Jons Family. Mr. Jons was my teacher when I was in high school in Cloquet. He was a great teacher and a wonderful man. When he wasn't my teacher I would stop by his class room just to say "Hi". He is one teacher I have never forgotten.
