Obituary of Rose Melillo

MELILLO, Rose, was born in New York on February 25, 1926 and passed away on September 12, 2014 at the age of 88 from complications of Alzheimer's. Rose resided in Tucson for the past 22 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and daughter, Lucy Rella. She is survived by her children, Frances Melillo, Thomas Melillo and Joanne (Mike) Otero. Rose had seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She had the soul of an angel, the heart of a fighter, and the love of all who knew her. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
