Obituary of Beverly Jo Vantu

Beverly Jo Vantu passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at TMC after being ill with cancer for only three months. She was the daughter of Donald Martin (Dec.) and Joan Lawson of Heath, OH and Gordon Lawson (Dec.) She is the mother of Joshua Murphy of Heath, OH and Ryan Martin of Warwick, RI and grandmother of Aden Murphy; sister of Chris Lawson and aunt of beautiful nieces, Savannah and Peyton. Bev was the first lady barber of Heath, OH. She worked for Dean Grace in Southgate for 25 years. She graduated Heath High in 1975. Bev was married to Tim Murphy (Dec.) Ron Vantu and Travis Nutt. She enjoyed traveling, being at the ocean, arts and crafts, animals and playing with Aden. The family thanks all those who visited in the hospital and sent flowers. There will be no graveside services. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the family's home on Saturday, September 13, 2014, 972 N. Chrysler Dr., Tucson, AZ from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
