Obituary of Robert George Genematas
Robert George Genematas Born on February 29, 1960, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2014. He is survived by his children, Jamie (Antonio Madrid) and Gene George and his former wife, Terry Stutz. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Wanda Armstrong; brothers, Tom Scott, Chuck Scott, Myron Stockton and Mark James; sisters, Kathy Stockton, Karen Scott, Patty James and Vicki Scott; numerous nieces and nephews he dearly loved and very special lifelong friends, Bill Ledbetter, Juan Rodriguez, Tommy Underwood, Roller O'Brien, Michel Dillon Burroughs, Mark Baca, Rich Stutz and Jan O'Leary and so many other incredible people Robert called his "brothers and sisters." Robert was a master heavy equipment operator, game hunter, halibut fisherman and passionate dirt bike rider. A trail in the mountains was his idea of absolute paradise "Fly on my sweet angel, fly on through the sky, Fly on my sweet angel, forever I will be by your side"…..Jimi Hendrix. Robert joins his father and mother, George and Patricia Genematas; brother, Jim Genematas; grandmother, "Nana" Imogene Frazier and forever buddies, Gene "Wheeler" O'Brien and Lorin Partridge in the hereafter, where there is no sadness or pain - only unconditional love. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Family of Casa de la Luz Hospice. Memorial contributions are suggested to the "Wounded Warrior Project." Services to be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
