Obituary of Marion Louise Kerrihard

Marion Louise Kerrihard born February 24, 1930 in Oconomowoc, WI to Louise and Donald Matheson, passed away on June 27, 2014. Married for 55 years to the late George Nelson Kerrihard, MD. She is survived by her five children, Diane, Joanne (Michael), Margaret, Donald (Tracy) and Thomas; her five grandchildren, Aaron, Samuel, Maxwell, Gabriel and Jude and her two brothers, Donald and Kenneth. A graduate of Northwestern's nursing program, she worked as a registered nurse, and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Marion moved from Wisconsin to Tucson, Arizona with her family in 1970. She assisted in the medical practice of her husband, volunteered for many years at Casa de los Ninos and had a passion for animal care and rescue. She loved her family and created a warm home for extended relatives and friends. She loved traveling with George and her children. We will miss her creative, fun-loving spirit, her grizzly bear antics in Yellowstone, her firepot meals, bundt cakes and her wink with a smile. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 5150 N. Valley View Rd. on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marion's name to Casa de los Ninos or the Pima Animal Care Center. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
