Obituary of Allen Knight

Allen Knight, Tucson, AZ, passed away June 15, 2014. He was 90. He exhibited courage, fortitude and a positive spirit during his very long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mariellen, his bride of 64 years; his daughters, Sheila and Rosemari; sons, Jim, Jerry and Jeff; and 11 grandchildren. Born in Bloomfield, NJ, Allen served in the Navy in WWII. He enjoyed woodworking, hiking, and was active in his church and civic organizations. Woodworking relieved the stress in his life. His profession was in the oil business. Thanks to the staffs at the VA (SAVAHCS) and the Casa de la Luz Hospice for their outstanding care for Allen and his family. Memorial Service will be at St. Frances Cabrini, 3201 E. Presidio Road, Tucson, on July 19, 2014, at 10.30am. Contributions can be made to Casa de la Luz, 7740 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85704.
