Obituary of Dolores Blancarte Bravo

Dolores Blancarte Bravo, beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Dolores died peacefully at home on June 17, 2014, surrounded by her family and love. Dolores was born on April 13, 1929, in Hayden, AZ. She married Armando Bravo on June 28, 1947; and together for 67 years, they raised their six children. Our mother taught each and every one of us the true meaning of family. One of the last things she asked was that we stick together and watch over our father. Dolores was an active member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church since 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister. Dolores is survived by her husband, Armando Bravo; children, Carol Conroy (Robert), Virginia Sylvester (Barry), Lucille Buchanan (Kent), Armando Bravo Jr. (Lucia), Frances Espino (Richard), and Tony Bravo (Pam); sister, Josie; brothers, Sotero, Louie and Adolfo; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great- grandchildren. She will be missed tremendously, but is home with our Lord. Services will be at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Saturday, June 21, 2014, 10:00 a.m. Arrangements made by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
