Obituary of Richard S. Evers

Richard S. Evers passed away on June 6, 2014. Dick was a former Principal of Canyon del Oro High School and served Amphi School Dist. for almost three decades. Dick was proud to be a Mid-Atlantic Conf. All Star, 1962-1963. He played football at Univ. of Delaware, Colo. State Univ. and was a Redskins 15th round draft choice. He leaves behind his wife, Joyce; daughter, Samantha Brenden (Stan); son, William Evers; five grandchildren; his two brothers; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, June 21, 2014, at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 7575 N. Paseo del Norte, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Playground Fund. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
