Obituary of Jeffrey Martin Green
Jeffrey Martin Green, age 57, of Tucson, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Jeff was born on November 5, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas, to Dr. Joseph Green and Ruth (Fenner) Green. The family moved to Tucson in 1961. Jeff attended Catalina High School, graduating in 1974. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a long-time entrepreneur and small business man in Tucson, in machine tool manufacturing at Arizona Gear/US Vibra and the plastics molding industry at Tucson Mold. Jeff is survived by his wife, Tina; his children, Sarah and Jacob Green; his sister, Karen (Alex) Hobson; and his brother, Richard (Stephanie) of Pittsburgh, PA. They, along with his sister- and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces and many friends from a lifetime in Tucson, will miss his humor, his gentle concern for others, his pride in his children, and his love for his family. Along with his work and his family, Jeff enjoyed exploring the Tucson desert on foot or by four-wheel drive, fishing, croquet and backgammon with friends, attending his children's sporting events, U of A sports, and reading about the history of the Southwest. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 3809 E. 3rd St., Tucson, on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Make-A-Wish Foundation, Arizona. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.
