Obituary of Sean Steven Edward Eskay
Sean Steven Edward Eskay was born on April Fool's Day, 1984, in Tucson. Dubbed "Boomer" as a baby by his Bubba and Di, he charmed the socks off anyone who met him. By the time he was three, Sean could read National Geographic, swim, and sing "Bear Down Arizona." By the time he was twenty, he could play at least seventeen instruments. Much of his musical ability was natural and self-taught. Sean marched with both the CDO Band and the Pride of Arizona in the saxophone section. The constants throughout Sean's too-short life were his family and his music. His gentleness, keen intelligence, and Samurai top-knot were his signatures. An Apple fan through-and-through, Sean was everyone's go-to guy for electronics and technology. He was also the broad shoulder that many friends leaned upon, and an Eagle Scout. Sean loved: British humor, astronomy, happy dogs, college football, smart women, finding and sharing new music with others, NPR, road trips, Mad Men, and great barbeque joints. Sean despised: intolerance, bad drivers, ASU, top 40 music, boring classes, humid weather, and salad. He will be missed always by his mother, Gayle Mills; father, Edward Eskay; stepfather, William Mills; sister, Molly Eskay; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He died too soon on March 14, 2014, leaving behind broken hearts and happy memories. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
